Terms & Conditions
The ground rules for using Fêteio. Written to be read, not skimmed.
Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Fêteio website at feteio.com and the Fêteio application at app.feteio.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Fêteio ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business, and "you" refers to that business. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Fêteio is an event planning platform for professional planners. It provides tools such as event timelines, seating charts, vendor management, checklists, budgets, client intake forms, invoices, contracts, and shareable client-facing pages.
We may add, change, or remove features from time to time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes that reduce the functionality you pay for.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and any access PINs you create for clients or vendors, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at hello@feteio.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
Where a free trial or free first month is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
We may change our prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or enter into the Service — event details, guest lists, vendor information, logos, images, documents, and anything else ("Your Content").
You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service, including rendering the public pages you choose to share.
You are responsible for Your Content, including having the necessary rights and consents to upload it — for example, consent from clients and guests whose personal information you enter into the platform.
6. Public pages and sharing
The Service lets you publish certain content to shareable pages (for example timelines, seating charts, and song request forms) protected by links and optional PINs. Anyone with the link and, where set, the PIN can view that content. You control what you publish and who you share links and PINs with, and you can unpublish content at any time.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; upload content that is infringing, defamatory, or malicious (including malware); attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission; resell or white-label the Service itself (as opposed to using its built-in branding features); or interfere with the Service's operation, including by placing unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Fêteio and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you in these Terms, we reserve all rights. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party services such as Stripe for payments and email providers for notifications. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that data will never be lost — please keep your own copies of critical event information (the Service's PDF export features can help).
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fêteio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms and, where practical, we will give you notice and a chance to remedy the breach first.
After termination, we may delete Your Content following a reasonable retention period. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 8, 10, 11, and 13) will survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fêteio is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other; if a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be brought in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
